Interior design on the Costa del Sol for British and Irish owners
You have bought, or are about to buy, on the Costa del Sol, and you will be in the UK or Ireland while the work happens. We plan the home, tender the trades, stand on site every week and report back in plain English, so the project does not stall between flights.

The distance is the problem, not the design
A two-hour flight sounds close until the work starts. Trades ask questions on Tuesday morning, tiles arrive in the wrong finish, and a decision that should take a minute waits a fortnight for your next visit.
We take that role permanently: one studio holding the drawings, the trades and the deliveries, so nothing waits for a weekend trip.
British building habits do not transfer directly
Spanish construction sequences differently, licences work differently by municipality, and a quote here is often a lump sum rather than a priced breakdown. Comparing two such quotes tells you almost nothing.
We produce the drawings and the material schedule first, then tender them, so you see the trades' own numbers against one clearly defined scope.
How reporting works from a distance
Decisions come to you in batches with drawings and physical samples, not as a stream of single questions at awkward hours. Progress arrives as photographs on an agreed rhythm.
One person stays with the project from the first drawing to installation day, so you never explain the house to somebody new.

So arbeiten wir
Der Ablauf, Schritt für Schritt.
First conversation
Usually a video call with your floor plan on screen, arranged around your time zone rather than ours.
Site visit and survey
We measure the property properly and read the plan: daylight through the day, wasted circulation, missing storage.
Concept and drawings
Layouts, materials, lighting plans and renders of the key rooms, presented in batches so you decide in one sitting.
Tender and programme
Contractors are tendered on our own drawings, so you compare real prices on the same scope before anything starts.
Site supervision and reporting
We attend site, check the work against the drawings and report progress with photographs on an agreed rhythm.
Installation and handover
Furniture, joinery and lighting delivered, installed and styled, so the house is finished the day you arrive.
Projektbeispiele
Three houses delivered for owners living outside Spain. Each case study records the brief, the constraints and how the work was run.
Fragen
Häufige Fragen
- Do we need to fly over for meetings?
- No. Most first conversations happen by video call with the floor plan on screen, and approvals are handled the same way. Many owners visit when they want to, not because the project requires it.
- Will everything be in English?
- Yes. Drawings, decisions, budget conversations and site reports are in English. We deal with the Spanish trades in Spanish, on drawings we produced ourselves.
- Can you work with a property we have not bought yet?
- Yes. Send the listing and we will tell you what the layout allows and what it would take to change, before you commit.
- Who holds the contractors to account?
- We do. We tender the work, appoint on our drawings, attend site and check what is built against what was approved.
Buying or renovating on the coast from the UK or Ireland?
Send the address or listing, a floor plan if you have one, and how you plan to use the home. We reply within two working days with a first view on scope, timeline and a realistic budget range.
