A small group of stone, timber, plaster, linen and woven texture creates depth without visual noise. Repeating materials across rooms gives continuity.

Design for evening as well as noon
Bright coastal rooms need layered, dimmable light after sunset. Wall washing, joinery lighting and low lamps are often more comfortable than a ceiling full of downlights.
